Lean, Project Coordination, UX Design, Agile
While working at Merkle DACH, I supported Medtronic IHS, a global leader in healthcare technology, in redesigning their digital platform.
The existing website did not adequately support the complex user journeys of key healthcare stakeholders — including doctors, hospital executives and procurement teams.
At the same time, the project had to operate within a highly regulated healthcare environment, where compliance, patient safety and data protection were critical constraints.
The goal was therefore not only a redesign, but the creation of a structured product development approach that combined user-centered design with regulatory requirements.
UX Stream Lead / Principal Consultant
I was responsible for leading the UX and product discovery stream, coordinating the UX team and acting as the primary interface between client stakeholders, design teams and development partners.
My work focused on translating complex regulatory and business requirements into validated product concepts and user journeys.
To manage the complexity of the project, we established a Lean and hypothesis-driven development process.
The work followed a structured Build–Measure–Learn cycle combining product discovery, prototyping and iterative delivery.
Key elements included:
The project was delivered in short agile sprints, enabling continuous validation and risk reduction.
The project delivered a significantly improved digital experience for Medtronic’s key stakeholders.

Lean Product Development
Healthcare UX
Stakeholder Alignment
